It is a challenging and critical function within BLOX, and the candidate will have significant opportunities for growth within the company.

The expectation is that a new leader should first understand the systems currently in place, provide assessment of where the system needs improvement, develop plan for improvement, review plan with the broader group for input and then deploy improvements rapidly.Job ResponsibilitiesManage production line of 30+ operatorsExecute the production schedule each dayMaintain public visual record of status in real timeActively identify, manage, and remove constraintsEnsure the line operates with continuous flow with appropriate resources and minimal reworkLead and model expected behaviorEnsure all members of the team receive both challenge and support, training, and feedback to set up for successHave working knowledge of all skill sets, activities and time required to complete tasksIdentify and define problems with 5-y or KT toolsWork with cross functional teams to solve problems including material handlers, process engineering and production schedulingDemonstrate the ability to identify and solve root causesDevelop continuous improvement actions and work with production teams to executeCommunicate production plans, status, and corrective actionsWork with production employees on good attendance habits, safety, quality, and productivity issuesFacilitate the training of new employeesJob Skills & Qualifications3+ years' experience in a manufacturing environmentAnalytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsHigh energy personality with a hands-on, lead-by-example leadership styleWorking knowledge of MS OfficeStrong communication and presentation skillsExperience building and/or leading a production or station teamStrong written and verbal communication skillsBLOX offers the full spectrum of comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance.
