Manufacturing OperatorLocation: Durham, North CarolinaType: Contract To HireCompensation: $17 - $21/hour, depending on experienceWork Model: OnsiteHours: 1st ShiftResponsibilities:Perform batch manufacturing operations according to approved batch records, SOPs, and safety standardsExecute pharmaceutical processing (filling, coating, cutting, etc) and packaging processesVerification of dispensed raw / packaging materials as requiredConduct in-process checks and sampling during manufacturing and packaging stagesClean and sanitize equipment, tools, and production areas as per Standard Operating Procedures / ProtocolsAssist with basic maintenance, calibration, and verification activities for production equipmentTroubleshoot equipment issues and escalate when needed to minimize downtimeComplete all required forms, logs, and documentation accurately and in a timely mannerFollow all SOPs, GMP guidelines, and safety proceduresSupport departmental requests related to developmental, investigative, or quality-related activitiesPerform packaging and labeling activities as assignedOperate various production equipment safely and efficientlyAssist in training new operators when requiredPerform other duties as assigned by managementMake self availability for the cGMP / Hands-On / Classroom trainings and complete all applicable training forms in a timely mannerTroubleshoot manufacturing equipment operational issues as needed.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent / higher requiredWork experience of equipment operation, product changeovers, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting for at least 1–2 years in Pharmaceutical / Nutraceutical Production (manufacturing and/or packaging)Ability to follow detailed written procedures and documentation requirementsBasic understanding of mechanical equipment and troubleshootingStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to work independently and within a team environmentFamiliarity with measurement tools (balances, calipers, etc.) preferredEffective communication skills with Production team members, Supervisors, and cross-functional teams including Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Warehouse, and EngineeringAbility to analyze information and make consistently good decisionsAbility to stand for extended periodsAbility to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs, as neededWork in a manufacturing environment, including exposure to powders, solvents, and machinery.System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
