Job Title: Manufacturing Technician
Location: Carlsbad, CA 92011
Pay Rate: $ per hour | Paid Weekly
Employment Type: Full-Time | 12-Month W2 Contract with the possibility of extensions.
Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite
Schedule: Monday-Friday, typically 9:00 AM-5:00 PM (40 hours/week)
Contract Dates: November 23, 2026 - November 22, 2027

Role Overview
BEPC is hiring a hands-on Manufacturing Technician to support our client's advanced manufacturing operations in Carlsbad, CA!
In this role, you'll build, test, and inspect stainless steel containers used to deliver ultra-pure materials for semiconductor manufacturing. You'll work primarily in a cleanroom environment , operating specialized equipment, performing quality checks, and ensuring every container meets strict manufacturing standards.
We're looking for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, at least 2 years of electromechanical assembly experience, and a willingness to learn and grow in a technical manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Assemble, disassemble, and test stainless steel containers using hand and electronic tools.
* Perform leak, particle, and moisture testing using specialized equipment.
* Read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and P&IDs.
* Troubleshoot electromechanical issues and inspect container hardware and electrical components.
* Operate semi-automated washing and drying equipment.
* Interpret gauges and measurement devices to verify equipment and container performance.
* Understand fluid flow and valve operation during testing and assembly.
* Follow cleanroom protocols, safety procedures, and established work instructions.
* Maintain accurate production records and document daily activities.
* Assist with prototype container builds and continuous improvement activities.
* Collaborate with team members to meet quality and production goals.
Qualifications
Required
* High school diploma or GED.
* 2+ years of electromechanical assembly experience.
* 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
* Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting skills.
* Ability to read technical assembly drawings, electrical schematics, and P&IDs.
* Experience using hand tools and interpreting gauges or measurement devices.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel .
* Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accurate documentation.
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs .
* Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
* Willingness to follow strict cleanroom and safety procedures.
Preferred
* Experience using SAP .
* Knowledge of helium leak detection or similar testing equipment.
* Experience using torque wrenches.
* Background in chemical processing, semiconductor manufacturing, or related industries.
* Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies.
* Experience operating automated or semi-automated manufacturing equipment.
