Manufacturing OperatorThe Manufacturing Operator position plays a critical role as the final stage in the manufacturing process for stickers and labels finished on a roll prior to the packaging and shipping of customer orders. In addition to operating finishing equipment, you may also be required to run other manufacturing machinery and equipment (e.g., shrink wrap machine and packaging/shipping station) to support overall production needs.Cross-training on all production machines and equipment is a core responsibility of this role. All operators are expected to learn and demonstrate proficiency on multiple machines beyond the one they were initially hired for or currently assigned to.

Your commitment to supporting your team and being "All In" helps ensure that customer orders are completed on time and to the highest standards.Duties & ResponsibilitiesOperate a tabletop label rewind machine including calibration, setup and daily cleaningOperate a slitting machine including calibration, setup and daily cleaningBe able to rewind or slit a daily volume of printed rolls for sticker and label products and count as neededAssemble, finish and process a daily volume of print rolls, sheets and final sticker productsAssemble shipping packets and support shipping team with daily product workflowInterpret job order details in order to properly set machine and finish rolls to customer specificationsPerform quality control inspections and remove defective itemsOffer ideas for continuous improvement within the manufacturing processCross-train on other printing machinery as needed and develop the capacity to support other team members in manufacturingMaintain a clean, tidy workstation at all timesCross-collaboration with other teams and departmentsOther duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesCompletion of High School education or equivalent (preferred)1 year of direct machine operator experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)Able to maintain health and safety requirements.Attention to detail related to product quality and machine process qualityAptitude for mechanical operation, manufacturing processes, and proceduresBasic math skills and superb attention to detail and product qualityExcellent attendance and punctuality - accurately record work time on a daily basisInterest and ability to grow professionally with support from StickerGiantPhysical RequirementsDuties require standing (except breaks and lunch) throughout working shift for 8 to 12 hoursAbility to use hands and fingers to operate office equipment (e.g., keyboard, mouse, phone)Able to lift 10 lbs. continuously and occasionally lift and/or move up to 45 lbs.Able to lift up to and above 50 lbs.
