Manufacturing Operator - 2ND SHIFTLaser Light - Hermann - Hermann, MO 65041OverviewPosition Type Full TimeDescriptionMANUFACTURING SETTING - CLEAN, SAFE, AIR CONDITIONED, VALUED TEAM MEMBER WORK ENVIRONMENTMEDICAL DEVICES AND COMPONENTSKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Setting up parts to be machined on one or more lasers and managing the process of machining the parts. Start laser and monitor progress of operationFollow all procedures and instructions in the PIF pertaining to the jobMoving machined parts through the cleaning and initial inspection process. Move part to next station for washing/drying/inspection at the appropriate timeInspect/measure machined part for quality and accuracy using appropriate inspection system and verifying conformance to specifications.

Reject any parts not meeting standard for excellenceExamining machined parts through a high-powered microscope to test for accuracy and excellence in the finished part. Perform required number of inspections at the required intervals in the jobAccurately recording all points in the manufacturing and testing process.Keep equipment and work area clean and tidy at all timesTurn chiller system on and off when requiredMonitor and adjust supply of gasses to the laserMaintaining accurate records, paperwork, and data entry up-to-date.Responsible for understanding and complying with all SPG and Dupont safety policies and procedures.QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS:EDUCATION:High School Diploma or GEDREQUIRED EXPERIENCE:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
