Manufacturing Operations SupervisorCollins Aerospace is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations and supervise a team of production employees in a fast-paced aerospace environment. In this role, you will oversee shop floor activities, workforce planning, production scheduling, and operational performance while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, delivery, and cost. You will partner with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement, resolve production challenges, and support the successful execution of manufacturing operations.Your mission: to lead a high-performing production team that delivers quality products on schedule, drives operational excellence, and continuously improves manufacturing performance while supporting Collins Aerospace's commitment to safety, customer satisfaction, and innovation.Join us in driving innovation and excellence in aerospace manufacturing!This onsite position is based at our Santa Isabel, PR location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment.

Relocation is not offered.Work Schedule:This position supports 4th Shift operations. Candidates must be available to work the following schedule based on business needs:4th Shift: Friday, 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.; Monday, 2:00 p.m.

– 11:00 p.m.What You Will Do:Supervise daily manufacturing operations, including shop floor activities, workforce management, and production flow to ensure safety, quality, and delivery objectives are achieved.Lead and coach production employees by assigning work, setting priorities, monitoring performance, and fostering employee development.Coordinate production schedules, staffing, and workflow to meet customer commitments and maximize operational efficiency.Monitor production metrics, identify performance gaps, and implement corrective actions to improve productivity and reduce downtime.Ensure compliance with quality standards by verifying documentation, supporting audits, and driving corrective and preventive actions.Partner with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and other cross-functional teams to resolve production and material issues.Support continuous improvement initiatives, cost reduction efforts, and manufacturing process enhancements to improve operational performance.Coordinate material availability and logistics activities to minimize production disruptions and maintain manufacturing schedules.Drive a culture of safety by ensuring compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and environmental, health, and safety standards.Interface with internal and external customers to resolve operational issues and ensure exceptional service and on-time delivery.Qualifications You Must Have:Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience with specialized knowledge of technical or operational practices.Demonstrated professional or educational experience communicating in English and Spanish (verbal and written).U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.Qualifications We Prefer:Previous supervisory experience in manufacturing operations or a similar production environment.Experience with production planning, workforce scheduling, and shop floor management.Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.Experience supporting quality systems and manufacturing process improvements.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.Experience working in aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated manufacturing industries.What We Offer:Some of our competitive benefits package includes:Medical, dental, and vision insuranceThree weeks of vacation for newly hired employeesGenerous 401(k) plan that includes employer matching fundsParticipation in the Employee Scholar Program (ESP)Life insurance and disability coverageEmployee Assistance Plan, including up to 8 free counseling sessionsAnd more!At Collins Aerospace, a RTX company, we are a leader in technologically advanced and intelligent solutions for the global aerospace and defense industry.
