Description

The Manufacturing Methods Analyst 2 is responsible for owning the development, maintenance, and accuracy of Methods of Manufacturing (MoM) within the ERP system. This intermediate-level role supports New Product Introduction (NPI), drives improvements in labor standards and process accuracy, and ensures manufacturing data reflects current, optimized shop floor practices. The position works cross‑functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Planning to support efficient, scalable, and repeatable production.

Essential Functions

  • Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT’s Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission.
  • Owns and maintains manufacturing routings, Methods of Manufacturing (MoM), and labor standards for assigned production areas, ensuring alignment with current shop floor practices.
  • Conducts time studies and work measurement analysis to establish, validate, and continuously refine labor standards.
  • Leads MoM development for New Product Introduction (NPI), including creation of initial routings, operations, and labor standards to support successful production launch.
  • Partners with Operations, Engineering, and Quality to validate manufacturing processes, resolve discrepancies, and improve method accuracy.
  • Improves scheduling accuracy by ensuring routings, cycle times, and labor standards accurately reflect production capability and constraints.
  • Works safely at all time and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Requires regular and punctual employee attendance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Three years or more of manufacturing‑related skill, knowledge, or experience required.
  • Hands‑on experience developing and maintaining routings, MoMs, and labor standards required.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, work centers, and production flow.
  • Experience working inside an ERP system (Epicor preferred).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.

Travel

  • Up to 25% travel to supplier locations or between facilities may be required.
  • Valid driver's license required.

Physical Requirements
