Manufacturing Machine OperatorLocation: Jesup, IA 50648OverviewSalary Range $27.00 - $27.00 HourlyDescriptionOur Machine Operator sets up and operates production equipment on an assigned line while ensuring safe, efficient, and high quality output. This role is well suited for someone with mechanical aptitude who enjoys hands on work, problem solving, and continuous learning in a manufacturing environment. We are now hiring for both 2nd and 3rd shifts!Key ResponsibilitiesOperate production equipment, completing start up and shut down procedures safely and efficientlyMaintain line speed to support smooth product flow and prevent material buildupPerform mechanical adjustments, minor repairs, and production changeovers as neededComplete required electrical work under NFPA 70E standards based on trainingOperate a forklift to move finished productSupport block changes and other line changeoversInspect finished goods and promptly report quality or equipment issuesComplete accurate production and quality reportingFollow and support all safety practices and initiativesAssist team members as needed and support continuous improvement effortsCross train and develop skills, including training toward leadership responsibilitiesComplete other duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required, or in process of completionMinimum six months manufacturing or production experience preferredAbility to learn or apply electrical work under NFPA 70E standardsBasic math and communication skillsAbility to read and follow safety rules and operating instructionsValid state driver's licenseForklift experience preferred with ability to obtain certificationAbility to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally and perform physical job demands throughout the workdayAbility to work in a non temperature controlled, loud production environmentUniversal ExpectationsAct with high personal and professional ethical standardsDemonstrate Prinsco values through teamwork, integrity, and accountabilitySupport the mission to care, contribute, and solveWork safely and maintain a clean, organized work areaFollow all safety rules, PPE requirements, and proceduresQualificationsRequired Education: - High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree in a related field is preferred. Required Experience: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

- Proven experience in operating and maintaining manufacturing equipment. - Experience in process improvement and lean manufacturing principles. - Previous experience in a supervisory or team lead role is advantageous. Required Skills and Abilities: - Strong technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.

- Excellent understanding of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing setting. - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. - Proficient in using computer software for data entry and reporting. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
