Manufacturing IT Developer IIILocation: Trenton, SC 29847 Work Model: Onsite Position Type: Full-TimeThe Manufacturing IT Developer III will support and enhance manufacturing systems by developing, integrating, and maintaining applications that interact with plant floor equipment and PLC systems. This role requires strong expertise in Wonderware,.NET technologies, and data acquisition from industrial systems to support operational efficiency and production performance.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain manufacturing IT applications and systemsWork extensively with Wonderware (industrial automation software)Perform PLC data acquisition and integrationDesign and develop applications using: VB.NET, ADO.NET, ASP.NETDevelop and optimize advanced T-SQL queries and databasesSupport end-to-end project lifecycle (design to post-implementation support)Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering and operationsTroubleshoot and resolve system and application issuesEnsure system reliability, scalability, and performanceSupport continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing systemsMust-Have Requirements5+ years of experience in a manufacturing IT environmentStrong experience with Wonderware softwareExperience with PLC data acquisition systemsProficiency in.NET technologies (VB.NET, ADO.NET, ASP.NET)Experience with T-SQL programmingBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related IT fieldRequired SkillsStrong programming skills in.NET frameworkExperience with industrial automation systems and manufacturing environmentsAdvanced T-SQL and database management skillsAbility to manage projects from concept to implementationStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilitiesEffective communication and collaboration skillsPreferred / Nice-to-Have SkillsExperience with Kepware or similar PLC communication toolsFamiliarity with classic ASPExperience with Zebra handheld scanners/devicesExposure to manufacturing execution systems (MES)Core CompetenciesIndustrial systems integrationApplication development and automationProblem-solving and analytical thinkingProject ownership and executionCollaboration and communicationEducationBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field (Required)Additional NotesOnsite role in a manufacturing plant environmentStrong preference for candidates with industrial automation exposureOpportunity to work on plant floor systems and digital transformation initiativesRelocation support available for qualified candidates
