We have over 65,000 employees and a presence in virtually every country around the world to address some of the most challenging global health issues.Job DescriptionResponsibilitiesManage and execute the systems subset of the OT portfolioOperational support for local, site specific OT/ITActs as the focal point (plant OT developer) who collects requirements and support for OT/IT solutionsCommunicates on progress, resolves or escalates issuesUtilize appropriate OT/IT systems for tracking and managing portfolio of workManage infrastructure and any other outsourcing needs for plant projects and systems infrastructure supportStrategically lead, manage, and support site specific OT/IT systems and processesTroubleshooting systematic problems by displaying an understanding of systems and processes to be able to troubleshoot effectively and efficientlyBeing able to apply learned knowledge of systems and processesDemonstrate leadership and management skills in and around the systems and processes in how and why they are utilized and supportedDocument, support, and disaster recovery for IT systems and processesWrite and execute the required computer software validation for OT/IT systemsThe ability to see, recommend, and implement improvement opportunities in a process or systemAssess business needs and process analysisMaximizes opportunities to utilize Plant existing or BD enterprise solutionsResponsible for gathering and documenting the user requirements/objectives, conducting systems design alternatives, and creating system specifications to meet those objectivesGather and recommend OT/IT infrastructure needs and requirements to meet project objectivesComply and administer with all development, change management, and computer software validation policies and proceduresSoftware design and development utilizing BD's approved programming languages is preferred, including, but not limited to, Visual Basic and Dot Net.
