This position is responsible for picking, packing, palletizing, and shipping products—including litter—while ensuring all outbound orders are processed with accuracy and efficiency.Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to following established processes. The associate helps maintain high-quality standards, supports a safe and organized work environment, and contributes to overall operational excellence and customer satisfaction.Location: Caine Warehouse in Reeseville, WIWhisker runs two daily shifts (Caine Warehouse):1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM Split Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PMOvertime and weekend work may be requiredWhat You'll Do:The International Fulfillment Associate I is responsible for accurately and efficiently fulfilling retail and wholesale litter orders by picking, packing, palletizing, and preparing outbound shipments. This role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to established processes, and consistent reliability to maintain quality standards, ensure safety, and support overall operational performance.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary.Performs all tasks safely, including team lifts for heavy loads; uses company-approved gloves when cutting, handling pallets, and removing strappingReports all workplace injuries immediately to a Lead or SupervisorCompletes and documents pre-shift inspections; reports maintenance needs promptlyLoads and unloads trailers, containers, and other vehicles safely and efficientlyVerifies the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments against packing lists and system recordsPicks, packs, and palletizes orders in compliance with partner, customs, and international shipping requirementsLifts, packages, and ships litter in 20 lb, 40 lb, and 60 lb formatsUses RF scanners and company systems to accurately process and track ordersGenerates and applies shipping labels, BOLs (Bills of Lading), and required documentationPrepares international shipping documents (commercial invoices, packing lists, etc.) in compliance with regulationsWeighs, dims, and verifies case packs, master packs, and pallets for accuracy and carrier complianceStages outbound shipments in designated lanes based on carrier, route, and prioritySchedules or coordinates pickups with carriers as directedCommunicates with drivers at check-in/check-out to ensure correct loads and documentationPerforms final load checks to ensure proper product, quantity, and securementEnsures proper pallet configuration, wrapping, banding, and labeling for safe transitFollows hazmat or special handling procedures when applicableResolves shipment discrepancies and reports issues to leadership promptlyMaintains FIFO/FEFO practices where applicableMonitors shipping deadlines and prioritizes orders to meet SLAs and customer expectationsMonitors inventory levels and reports discrepanciesParticipates in cycle counts and physical inventory activitiesInvestigates and helps resolve inventory variancesResponds with urgency to shipping and litter demands as neededIdentifies process inefficiencies and suggests improvementsSupports packaging optimization (carton selection, dunnage, labeling)Maintains a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace using 5S principles (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain)Follows OSHA and PIT safety standards and company security proceduresSupports cross-training as both trainer and traineeAssists in training new team membersDemonstrates flexibility by supporting other departments as neededPerform all other duties as assigned.RequirementsRequirements & Qualifications:Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and cross-functional teamsAbility to follow instructions and safely use hand and power toolsMechanical aptitude and good manual dexterityMaintain a positive attitude and strong work ethicOrganized, detail-oriented, and able to work efficientlyComfortable working in a fast-paced assembly environmentEager to learn and contribute across different areas of the companyAbility to stand and walk for 8+ hours per dayMaintain confidentiality of proprietary informationDemonstrate professionalism in a dynamic environment with frequent interactions and interruptionsAbility to build and maintain cooperative working relationshipsMaintains confidentiality of proprietary informationAbility to maintain a professional atmosphere in a fast-paced environment with numerous interactions and interruptionsA high degree of initiative, self-motivation, and ability to motivate othersAbility to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with Team Members and colleaguesComfortable with office pets (cats, dogs) Not Required but Nice to Have: Working experience in a manufacturing/distribution environment is preferredFamiliarity with G-Suite applications (Gmail, Google Sheets, Docs, and Calendar).Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged; additional language skills are a plusPhysical Demands and Work EnvironmentThe physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to sit, talk, and hear.
