Manufacturing Intern
Join HII – Mission Technologies and make a difference as a Manufacturing Intern for 2026. As an Intern, you will actively contribute to meaningful projects and work closely with a mentor and with senior leadership. Support the Engineering team with engineering functions in one or more of the following specialties: electronics, electrical, and/or mechanical. Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support. Applicants will be involved in all stages of R&D projects as well as product development projects. U.S. citizenship required.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Assist engineers with basic design, testing, and documentation tasks.
- Support data collection, analysis, and reporting for ongoing projects.
- Help review engineering drawings, specifications, and procedures.
- Participate in continuous improvement, quality, or manufacturing activities.
- Work hands on on Production/Prototype floor under supervision.
- Complete assigned projects and present findings to the engineering team.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent + Must be actively enrolled in a 2-4 year college/university working towards an Bachelor's degree with up to 20% of the required credits completed.
