Oversees the installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment. Maintains current records on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades and safety issues.

Studies equipment performance and reliability. Establishes programs and solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process. Provides technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations. Defines and writes preventative maintenance schedules.Primary Duties & ResponsibilitiesManage capital expansion projects from budgeting to installation to productionCollect and analyze data to drive improvements in critical metrics related to safety and equipment availabilityLead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) teams and implement effective Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPAs)Implement and manage programs such as condition monitoring and predictive/preventative maintenanceProvide economically rational spare parts plans for toolsCreate and maintain documentation such as preventative and reactive maintenance proceduresCollaborate with process engineers to drive yield and throughput improvementsManage facility-related activities and troubleshooting effortsPlan and supervise visits by contractors and equipment vendors as neededJob QualificationsA Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering, or equivalent experience8+ years of related experience in a manufacturing settingExperience with equipment availability metrics and structured problem-solving methods in a manufacturing environmentDemonstrated organizational and communication skillsDemonstrated ability to work with a high level of autonomy and as part of a team, taking ownership of tasks and projectsWillingness to work in non-cleanroom and cleanroom type environmentsAbility to train and support technicians within the departmentAbility to lift up to 30 pounds, stand for 3-5 hours or sit for 4-8 hours per shift, and have steady handsProficiency with MS Office product suitePreferred Qualifications6+ years in semiconductor manufacturing or equipment engineering roleExperience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)Technical knowledge of PLCsTechnical knowledge of an array of semiconductor manufacturing equipmentExperience with leading a team of maintenance techniciansApplicants must be either a U.S.
