Asia site launch readiness assessment to include on‑site launch support, ramp assistance and operator & technician training delivery
ECO change communication & update management
Post‑launch issue support & sustaining documentation
Schedule and implement process improvements focused on defect reduction, cost reduction and assembly optimization throughout the manufacturing process
Manage utilization of SPC data to direct process improvement focus of the Manufacturing Engineering department
Responsible for supervision, guidance and technical support for the Manufacturing Engineering department
Requirements
Education: Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering (master’s degree often preferred)
Experience: Minimum of five years’ applicable experience in the production and testing of electromechanical assemblies
Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of quality control fundamentals like GD&T, SPC, FMEA, Control Plans, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies
Skills/Technical Requirements: Experience with workflow processes in the fabrication, assembly and testing of electromechanical systems and components; intimate working knowledge of statistical process control methods; knowledge of design for manufacturability principles; must be computer literate; excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
