The position requires a professional capable of participating in selecting tooling, gaging, and developing processes to ensure parts are manufactured on time with the highest quality by performing the following duties:
Self-manage short- and long-term projects, including interacting with internal department and vendors Design manufacturing processes based on existing stable processes Identify and implement engineering definition and contractual flow down requirements effectively into manufacturing processes Identify potential improvements with impact analysis and support continuous improvement initiatives Design work holding for manufacturing and test applications Provide technical support to production and supply base
Experience/Interest in conventional & non-conventional machining, chemical processing, non-destructive testing, and heat treatment preferred Working knowledge of quality systems and control plans Proficiency with CAD systems, Siemens NX preferred
