Our client, a leading automotive manufacturer, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support production operations, new product launches, and continuous improvement initiatives within a high-volume manufacturing environment. The Manufacturing Engineer will support equipment implementation, process optimization, troubleshooting, quality initiatives, and cost reduction efforts while partnering closely with production and cross-functional teams.

The Manufacturing Engineer will support equipment implementation, process optimization, troubleshooting, quality initiatives, and cost reduction efforts while partnering closely with production and cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Support new product launches and manufacturing process implementation
- Design, install, and improve manufacturing equipment, tooling, and fixtures
- Troubleshoot production and manufacturing process issues
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions, including 8D activities
- Improve manufacturing flow, efficiency, and productivity using continuous improvement methods
- Analyze manufacturing processes to reduce waste and lower costs
- Perform DOE analysis and process optimization activities
- Support project timelines, equipment implementation, and process improvements
- Assist with work instructions, quality procedures, and manufacturing standards
- Ensure compliance with quality systems and manufacturing requirements
- Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field
- Manufacturing engineering experience within automotive or high-volume manufacturing
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, tooling, and process improvement
- Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action methods
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles
- Understanding of quality systems and manufacturing standards
- Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills
- Experience supporting automated manufacturing environments
- Exposure to APQP, PFMEA, and control plans
- Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience
- Experience with process optimization and production efficiency initiatives
