We're looking for a dynamic Manufacturing Engineer I for our Auburn, AL facility. This is an intermediate-level engineering role, evaluates and introduces process and product modifications, standards, and improvements through knowledge of manufacturing equipment and processes, while increasing product quality, output, and cost effectiveness for the corporation.On-Site: Qualified candidates must be able to work an on-site schedule at our Auburn, AL facility.Role Responsibilities:Monitors and modifies equipment to ensure safety and efficiency in the production line.
Implements corrective actionsReviews and verifies accuracy of existing procedures and bill of materialsNegotiates final design to ensure manufacturability and product requirementsConducts testing and evaluation of products and processesConducts studies for process and product improvementsDevelops and analyzes testing procedures to anticipate any potential process or product failureConducts studies to improve plan layout, production line efficiency and production line controlContributes to product failure mode and effects analysesManage product or process development projectsCollaborates on technical program objectives and product specifications that meet marketing and manufacturing needsRecommends and employs new equipmentProvide technical support to developers to ensure manufacturability of developed products and processesMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.1 year of related professional engineering work experience.Preferred Qualifications:Experience and interest in hands-on engineering concepts, for production tooling, production changes, and process engineering.
