About Our Client
My client is a U.S.-based automotive manufacturing and emissions technology company specializing in aftermarket solutions for diesel engines, particularly in the heavy-duty and commercial vehicle market.
Job Description
The key responsibilities of the Manufacturing Engineer are:
Lead the development, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes for new and existing products
Manage the full lifecycle of new product introduction (NPI), ensuring timely and successful product launches
Collaborate with suppliers to support tooling, fixtures, and equipment design and procurement.
Ensure manufacturing processes meet quality standards, production capacity, and cost objectives.
Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality
Provide hands-on engineering support to production, including troubleshooting and process optimization
Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, and Production teams to align manufacturing capabilities with business needs
Support internal and external audits, testing, and validation efforts.
Maintain and update technical documentation, work instructions, and process specifications

The Successful Applicant
The successful Manufacturing Engineer will have the following:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering preferred)
2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or process engineering environment.
Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD tools
Background in automotive, emissions systems, or industrial manufacturing preferred
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, ideally including sheet metal, welding, CNC machining, or similar
Proven ability to work in a hands-on environment with a strong shop floor presence
Experience supporting new product introductions.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
