nBachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Eng, Mechanical Eng, Electrical Eng, or other Engineering related discipline from an accredited college with 2+ years of professional experience, or a Masters Degree and no experience.n

nAbility to obtain a secret security clearance so must be a US Citizen.n

nPrevious experience in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering tasks; including internship and/or project teams experience.n

nAbility to track and manage cost, quality, and schedule in a manufacturing environment.n

nAbility to plan, coordinate, and set up production work cells and facility layout changes.n

nAbility to define problems, collect/analyze data and make the necessary improvements to achieve desired performance.n

nElectro-mechanical, cable & harness assembly/fabrication experience as well as CCA production experience.n

nAbility to use MRP/ERP production systems to create/change work instructions, shop floor routers, and bills of materials.n

nAbility to use simulation modeling software to analyze and improve production process flow.n
n
nDemonstrated use of 2D and 3D modeling programs such as Auto-CAD and CREO to design tooling/fixturing.n

nAbility to learn and program a variety of production support equipment.n

nAs a Manufacturing Engineer, you may support the Assembly and/or Fabrication areas depending on the project or assignment.n

- n Interfacing with design, manufacturing, test, quality, and other internal/external stakeholders as the product(s) move from planning to release, completion, and distributionn
- n Using SAP, dPLM, and other applications & tools to analyze and develop sequence of operations, work-instructions, procedures, and production record systems including inspection and testn
- n Assisting in the identification, procurement, and implementation of equipment, machinery, tools/fixtures, and material handling systemsn
- n Establishing methods for maximum utilization of the production facilities and personnel utilizing lean six sigma concepts to improve work-flow efficiencies throughout production and the facilityn
- n Using 2D/3D modeling tools to assist facilities engineers in the planning and design of manufacturing cells & layouts throughout the facilityn
- n Using business process applications and tools to analyze data to improve productivity including reducing cost, improving inventory accuracy and improving first pass quality to achieve on-time schedulesn
- n Investigating issues, gathering data, and initiating corrective actions and then presenting solutions to teams and leaders within the organizationn
- n Assisting in establishing hazard prevention measures including personnel training programs for all phases of production operations including safety and ergonomicsn n
