Manufacturing EngineerJob Location: Henderson, COJob Shift: M-F 7:00am - 4:00pm (onsite)Job Duration: 12 Months on W2Roles and Responsibilities:Supporting production needs in real time (line support) through process, tooling, and documentation solutions across all areas of the businessDriving safety, quality, and delivery improvements and projectsExecuting small to medium sized projectsCreating and maintaining accurate work instructionsActing as a go-to technical resource on the floorSafety Required Behaviors:Stop unsafe work immediatelyReport all hazards/incidents immediatelyUse PPE 100% of the timeCorrect hazards within controlActively identifies risks and works to problem solve along with teamWork Instructions and Process Documentation:Technician owns the accuracy, usability, and timeliness of process documentation.Review production issues tied to documentationUpdate WIs proactivelyValidate instructions on the floor with operatorsProcess Ownership and Support:Technician is the first line of support for process related issuesReduce repeat process issuesProvide solution or escalation within 24 hours of issueInvestigate root cause of issues in productionSupport in Ops Meetings - PQP, End of Day, etc.Tooling and Equipment Support:Technician ensures tooling supports efficient and repeatable processTooling improvements resolved/escalated within 48 hoursTooling improvements follow MOC and MCR processes, and have documentation associatedCompletes validation testing for any new tools on the floorProject Execution:Technician independently executes assigned small to medium sized projects with clear deliverables and timelinesCompletes project on time (> 90%)Project delivers on defined and measured outputsDocument project progressUses problem solving and project management tools (Ex: Excel, Time Studies, Cross Functional Meetings, 5WHY, MOC, etc.)Continuous Improvement:Technician actively improves processes, not just maintains themIdentifies inefficiencies and proposes solutions to fix themImplement and validate improvementsWork across functions to get overall impact - Ops, QE, HSEQuality and Process Control:Technician ensures processes are consistent by ensuring process changes are controlled and documentedSupport root cause analysisUpdate process documentation after changesParticipate in problem solvingCommunication and Cross Functional Coordination:Technician communicates independently and clearly across production, engineering, and support teamsProvides clear updates on projects and action items in meetings or via emailEffective coordination during changes/projects - including cross functional collaboration and decision makingCreate and attend meetingsTop 3 Skills:Technical Troubleshooting and Structured Problem SolvingSafety and Quality DisciplineCommunication and AgilityRequired: High school diploma, with a college degree in Engineering or a related field preferred.
