Manufacturing EngineerAs a Manufacturing Engineer in Houston, you'll design and improve manufacturing processes to optimize production efficiency while keeping costs down and maintaining high product quality. You'll solve technical problems in manufacturing and help implement new processes using Lean Manufacturing principles.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical DutiesDesign manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems to improve quality and efficiencyManage the launch of new or updated productsCreate and update Bills of Materials (BOMs) and production routingsDesign, test, and source tools and machinery for manufacturingIdentify and solve production bottlenecks and workflow issuesPrepare facility and equipment layouts using CAD softwareWrite technical procedures and reportsCollaborationCommunicate effectively with all stakeholdersWork with Engineering to ensure BOM accuracy in Windchill systemCollaborate with Purchasing and Manufacturing teams on cost of goods soldWork with global teams to implement manufacturing best practicesFinancial ResponsibilitiesPrepare feasibility studies and cost justifications for projectsMonitor production and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costsManage expenses within approved budgetsQualificationsRequiredBachelor's degree in engineering (Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical preferred)5-7+ years of manufacturing experienceKnowledge of mechanical engineering principles in manufacturingExperience with workshop tools (test ovens, soldering equipment, ESD workstations)Knowledge of machine design and special manufacturing processesAutoCAD and Microsoft Office skillsSelf-motivated with strong leadership skillsDisposition of NCI – non conformanceHands on problem solvingExperience with disassembly, reassembly and testing of pressure-controlled or pressure-contained mechanical equipmentPreferredLean Manufacturing experience or Green Belt/Black Belt certificationOil & Gas manufacturing experienceUnderstanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)Travel Requirement: Ability to travel up to 10% annually
