The company is a recognized pioneer in AESA tactical radar technology, supporting missions such as active military protection, counter-drone operations, critical infrastructure security, and border surveillance.Job ResponsibilitiesSupport Design for Manufacturability (DFM) reviews on new mechanical assemblies and electro-mechanical systems, providing actionable feedback to design teams early in the development cycleInterpret and review engineering drawings and GD&T callouts to ensure producibility and inspection feasibilityCollaborate with design engineers to develop and document manufacturing processes, work instructions, and assembly procedures for new product introductionsAssist in prototype and first article builds on the production floor, providing hands-on support and capturing lessons learnedMaintain and manage BOMs and ERP data to support accurate material planning and configuration control throughout NPIIdentify opportunities to reduce cost, cycle time, and risk through process improvements and design feedbackWork with manufacturing teams to establish tooling, fixtures, and process controls required for new product buildsSupport the transition of NPI programs into production, ensuring documentation and process readinessQualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related fieldExperience working in aerospace or defenseUp to 2 years of relevant engineering experience (internship and co-op experience considered)Proficiency in SolidWorks or equivalent 3D CAD softwareWorking knowledge of GD&T and the ability to read and interpret engineering drawingsFamiliarity with manufacturing processes including machining, sheet metal fabrication, and mechanical assemblyExperience with or exposure to ERP systems and BOM managementStrong communication and collaboration skills — comfortable working directly with design engineers and production floor personnelPreferred: Hands-on experience in a production or prototyping environmentPreferred: Exposure to electro-mechanical assembly processesPreferred: Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO quality management systemsU.S. Citizenship required. This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.The salary range for this position is $69,051.00-$89,767.00.
