Key Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and improve manufacturing work instructions and procedures using an MES-based system.
- Convert existing instructions into clear, standardized, and efficient work procedures based on Lean manufacturing principles.
- Develop and optimize assembly, disassembly, soldering, component installation/removal, coating, and material preparation processes.
- Define operation sequences and procedures for tooling, equipment, and processes that impact product performance.
- Evaluate manufacturing methods with consideration for cost, quality, operator efficiency, ergonomics, and productivity.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to improve processes, build methods, and product quality.
- Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and product requirements and support relevant audits.
- Provide feedback to manufacturing and design teams to improve build processes and work instructions.
Required Skills
- Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment.
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Background in manufacturing, production, electronics, or a related technical field.
- Experience creating detailed work instructions, technical documentation, or procedures.
- Experience with MES systems and CAD/visual-aid tools.
- Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles.
- Technical certificate or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience & Education
- Required: Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience or an Associate’s Degree/equivalent experience.
- Preferred: Experience in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Computer Science, or Industrial Engineering, with MES experience considered a plus.
- Experience in technical writing, research, and developing manufacturing work instructions is highly preferred.
