About the Role
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II, NPI to support manufacturing process development and production readiness. This role will collaborate with Development and Manufacturing Engineering teams to define manufacturing requirements, prepare production lines, and finalize inspection procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Manufacturing Process Development
- Coordinate with Development and Manufacturing Engineering to define and document component manufacturing requirements and processes throughout the device development lifecycle.
Manufacturing Readiness
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to confirm manufacturing line readiness, ensuring the appropriate equipment, space, and staff are prepared.
- Inspection Procedures
- Finalize inspection procedures, including defining inspection sample sizes and selecting inspection techniques and gages for each lot of parts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Engineering discipline.
- 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Medical device industry experience.
Compensation
- Pay Rate: $35–$42/hour
- Location: Bethel, CT Onsite
- Duration: 12 months, with potential conversion to permanent employment.
