Manufacturing Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II for a 12-month contract with a client in Avon, IN 46123 (Onsite).

Title: Manufacturing Engineer II

Location: Avon, IN 46123 (Onsite)

Duration: 12-month contract with possible extension

Pay Range: $40-43/hr (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)

Shift: 8 am to 4:30 pm

Job Description:

Bachelor Science or Bachelor Engineering, Electrical, Software, or Mechanical Engineering. 3-5 years exp. Lean Six Sigma green or black certification nice to have but not required. Must have experience with QMS management, Authoring Change Orders, Technical Writing. Leading Installation Qualifications and Installation Protocols.

1. Windchill (Work Instructions) change management
2. Equipment and process documents ownership
3. Validation Ownership (Equipment, Nonproduct software validations, Temperature Mapping)
4. Materials coming in

· Repack set up

· Material set up

· Packaging set up

· Maintaining Master Data

1. Floor / Operations Support and Troubleshooting
2. Robotics, operations printers, operations equipment
3. Maintenance Calibration / Preventative Maintenance
4. Monthly Business Review Reporting and Metrics ownership
5. Vendor Coordination
6. Project Support (Internal & External to the Building)

Skills Required

• Hands-On (Roll up your sleeves and get dirty)
• Technical Writing
• Must be able to coach, lead, mentor peers and Operations
• Troubleshooting
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to advocate for your position and the site
• Must be persistent, drive goals through completion.
