Manufacturing Engineer Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide engineering guidance and support to manufacturing operations.
- Ensure manufacturing processes meet customer specifications and requirements.
- Develop and implement engineering systems in accordance with established engineering standards.
- Design and improve machine and assembly processes.
- Support the development and implementation of manufacturing systems.
- Analyze manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Minimum 5 years of Manufacturing Engineer experience.
- Proven engineering knowledge within an aerospace manufacturing environment.
- Degree in Engineering or a comparable combination of education and experience.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical and engineering documents.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel and databases.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- 5+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience.
- Aerospace manufacturing experience.
- Engineering degree or equivalent education/experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and database systems.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and engineering documentation.
- Experience designing and managing manufacturing systems.
- Experience with machine and assembly processes.
- Strong knowledge of engineering standards and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to move throughout the manufacturing facility and navigate stairs.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to visually review hard-copy customer and engineering specifications.
- Ability to hear and respond to customers by telephone and in person.
- Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment.
