Major manufacturer in the greater Morristown, TN area has immediate need for a Department Production Manager. This is a high-volume production area operating 3-shifts. The Department Manager will lead Production Supervisors overseeing nearly 100 hourly employees.Qualified candidates must have at least 3 years experience in Manager or Supervisor level positions.
The Department Manager will focus on improving processes, resolving production issues, and ensuring safety, quality and delivery goals are met. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a lot of time on the production floor. There is opportunity for the Department Manager to positively effect change is this area to bring on new customers.
