Compliance ManagerThe Compliance Manager is responsible for overseeing and strengthening the organization's compliance framework to ensure adherence to ITAR, CMMC Level 2, AS9100, OSHA, EPA, ATF and other applicable regulations, quality standards, customer requirements, and government contract obligations. This role supports manufacturing operations by managing regulatory risk, ensuring export and security compliance, and maintaining certifications.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure compliance with applicable aerospace and defense regulations, including ITAR, CMMC Level 2, DFARS, FAR, ATF and related government contracting requirementsEnsure compliance with applicable drinking water, wastewater, and runoff regulations including NPDWR, NPDES, and other applicable EPA/water regulations or requirementsInterpret and implement customer-specific and regulatory compliance requirements across manufacturing, supply chain, and quality functionsMonitor regulatory changes and assess their operational and contractual impactSupport and oversee compliance with industry quality standards such as AS9100, ISO 9001, NADCAP, and customer flow-down requirementsPartner with Quality, Engineering, Purchasing, and Operations to embed compliance into manufacturing processes and proceduresPrepare for, support, and respond to customer, regulatory, and third-party auditsDevelop, maintain, and enforce compliance policies, procedures, and internal controlsLead compliance risk assessments related to manufacturing, sourcing, exports, and government contractsDesign and deliver compliance and regulatory training for employees, including export control and ethics trainingConduct internal audits and compliance reviews to identify gaps and opportunities for improvementInvestigate potential compliance violations and support corrective and preventive actionsTrack, document, and report compliance metrics, findings, and remediation efforts to managementRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in business or a related field7+ years of compliance, quality, regulatory, or audit experience within aerospace, defense, or regulated manufacturingStrong knowledge of ITAR, DFARS, FAR, and A&D quality standardsWorking knowledge of CMMC Level 2 requirementsWorking knowledge of EPA, NPDWR, NPDES, and other water regulationsStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to communicate complex regulatory requirements to shop-floor and professional audiencesDemonstrated integrity, discretion, and attention to detailPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting government or DoD contractsFamiliarity with AS9100, NADCAP, and customer audit processesProfessional certifications such as CCEP, CPCM, CRCMP, CQA, or similarPrior experience working directly with manufacturing operationsWhat We OfferCompetitive salary based on experienceComprehensive benefits package (health, dental, 401k, etc.)Opportunities for professional growth and advancementSupportive team environment and modern facilities
