Location: Wilmington, OH
Pay Rate: $18.75 - $21.25 per hour
Schedule: 1st Shift + 2nd Shift + 3rd Shift | Monday - Friday (Must be available for daily and weekly overtime)
Training on the 1st shift for 1 - 4 weeks

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Ability to read work instructions, production documents, and quality standards
  • Basic math and measurement skills

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months of machine operator experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience working with production equipment and quality inspections
  • Familiarity with production reporting and workplace safety procedures

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous die casting, metal manufacturing, or foundry experience
  • Experience using gauges, hand tools, and powered pallet jacks
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement practices
  • Ability to identify quality concerns and production issues

Physical Capabilities

  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly
  • Comfortable working in hot manufacturing environments
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
  • Ability to safely move materials and operate production equipment

Job Duties

  • Operate, start up, and shut down die casting machines
  • Perform visual and gauge-based quality inspections to ensure product specifications are met
  • Trim cast parts using hand tools, wire wheels, and other equipment
  • Maintain machine performance by cleaning equipment, preheating dies, replacing components, and supporting 5S standards
  • Complete production reports, downtime tracking, and scrap documentation
  • Monitor part flow, identify process abnormalities, and follow segregation procedures for nonconforming products
  • Operate powered pallet jacks to move materials
  • Follow all safety procedures, equipment checks, lockout/tagout requirements, and housekeeping standards
