Associate Biotherapeutics ManufacturingThe associate plays a critical role ensuring reliable and compliant manufacturing of biotherapeutic products by supporting essential cell culture, bioprocessing, and manufacturing operations that contribute directly to patient-focused outcomes. This is a hands-on role performing all activities within the production facility to produce biopharmaceutical products.Responsibilities:Assist in cell culture activities: vial thaw, cell passaging, cell countingAssist in Single Use Bioreactor (SUB) bioreactor operations, set up, pH/DO probes calibrations, media additions, inoculation, etcCleaning, weighing, mixing and process monitoring, maintaining inventory of equipment parts, clean room supplies, perform testing of materials/supplies (i.e. integrity testing of filters)Assisting in product changeovers cleaningAssembly, disassembly and operation of bioprocess and laboratory equipment such as bioreactors, filter assemblies, and pump setupsPrepare buffers, media, and other solutions needed for manufacturing practicesAssist in the investigation of environmental excursions and deviationsQualifications:AS/BA/BS in Biology, Chemistry or Life Sciences0-2 years' experience in Biotech/Pharma industry0-2 years' experience in GMPDemonstrate mechanical aptitude and good manual dexterityAbility to work and to stand for long periods and lift 30 - 40 poundsAvailability for extended day shifts, weekends, and holiday work, as neededThe ability to work in a clean room environment with good aseptic techniqueAbility to read, write, understand and work from SOPWord processing ability including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookThe ability to work independently and as part of a team
