To support a portfolio of small and mid-sized manufacturers, the fully remote Manufacturing Accountant will execute day-to-day accounting tasks, maintain cost accounting structures, and track inventory while collaborating closely with the Controller and CFO. Key responsibilities Execute day-to-day accounting for manufacturing clients, including maintaining cost accounting structures and tracking inventory Prepare and review COGS analysis and gross margin reporting by product line, while managing accounts receivable and conducting monthly reconciliations Monitor material cost variances and labor efficiency variances, proactively communicating findings to the Controller and CFO Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or equivalent experience 3+ years of accounting experience with significant exposure to the manufacturing industry Hands-on experience with cost accounting, inventory valuation, and COGS analysis Familiarity with manufacturing or ERP accounting platforms (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) Experience in a multi-client or Client Accounting Services (CAS) environment is strongly preferred
