About the Opportunity

Apptestify Global Services, through its crowd-testing platform TestGate.io, is looking for motivated individuals to join our global network of freelance manual testers.

As a tester, you will test mobile applications on real devices, identify bugs, report issues, and help improve the quality, usability, and performance of applications before they reach end users.

This is an excellent opportunity for students, working professionals, freelancers, and technology enthusiasts looking for flexible, part-time remote work.

Key Responsibilities

* Test mobile applications on Android and/or iOS devices.
* Identify and report bugs, defects, usability issues, and unexpected application behaviour.
* Execute assigned test scenarios and follow testing instructions.
* Perform functional, exploratory, usability, and compatibility testing.
* Test application features such as registration, login, navigation, forms, notifications, and other workflows.
* Capture screenshots, screen recordings, and relevant logs to support bug reports.
* Provide clear, detailed, and reproducible bug reports.
* Retest reported bugs when fixes become available.
* Follow project guidelines, testing timelines, and confidentiality requirements.

Eligibility Criteria

* Must have access to an Android smartphone and/or an iPhone, depending on project requirements.
* Basic understanding of how mobile applications work.
* Good attention to detail and the ability to identify unexpected behaviour.
* Ability to communicate clearly in English or the language required for the project.
* Reliable internet connectivity.
* Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned testing tasks within the specified deadlines.
* Willingness to learn manual software testing fundamentals.

Freshers can apply. Previous software testing experience is an advantage but is not mandatory for every project.

Compensation

* Payment will be calculated on an hourly basis for eligible project work.
* Hourly compensation will be discussed during the interview or onboarding process.
