Managing Director MA Investment Banking position in Midwest w Major International Bank

Looking for a Managing Director – M&A Investment Banking with 10 years of experience in M&A Investment Banking and a solid deal sheet of M&A transactions in the $100 Million plus range per transaction.

Locations: Chicago, IL | Minneapolis, MN | Cleveland, OH | Denver, CO | Pittsburgh, PA

The position will work in the Middle Market Investment Banking team that advises Private Equity Funds, Entrepreneurs, Family Offices and Middle Market Companies on mergers and acquisitions, private debt, equity financings, recapitalizations, and other transactions up to $500 million of enterprise value.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Client Coverage

• Originate new business opportunities and secure advisory mandates.
• Develop and maintain senior-level client relationships.
• Generate industry-specific thought leadership and market insights.

Transaction Execution

• Lead M&A, private debt, equity financing, recapitalization, and strategic advisory engagements.
• Oversee transaction execution, financial analysis, and valuation.
• Coordinate with legal, accounting, tax, and other external advisors.

Leadership

• Mentor and lead Directors, Executive Directors, Associates, and Analysts.
• Collaborate with Capital Markets and Commercial Banking teams to deliver integrated client solutions.

Sector Experience

• Consumer (Manufacturing & Services)

Experience

• 10+ years of Investment Banking experience.
• Currently operating at the Managing Director level.
• Strong Middle Market M&A origination and execution experience.
• Proven business development and client relationship management skills.
