The Managing Director, Enterprise Performance & Value Creation serves as the operational leader of the Performance Enhancement Office (PEO) and strategic partner to the Head of PEO.
The role is responsible for integrating strategy, finance, analytics, and value creation initiatives into a cohesive enterprise performance framework. The role partners closely with executive leadership to support capital allocation decisions, enterprise value creation initiatives, strategic planning, lender and investor communications, and Board-level decision support.
The position is intended to serve as the primary successor-development role within the PEO, providing leadership across strategic finance, enterprise analytics, organizational performance, and cross-functional initiative execution and serves as a critical component of the organization’s succession planning, leadership development, and long‑term capability‑building strategy.
Core Responsibilities
Strategic Finance & Enterprise Value Creation
- Translate enterprise strategy into financial models, value drivers, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
- Identify opportunities to enhance enterprise value through pricing, productivity, operating leverage, and capital deployment.
- Support Strategy Council and Investment Committee activities through structured analysis and decision frameworks.
- Lead enterprise‑level strategic analysis addressing growth, profitability, and long‑term value creation.
Capital Allocation & Capital Markets
- Support enterprise capital planning, stress testing, and deployment decisions.
- Evaluate return on capital across M&A, organic investments, debt reduction, and strategic initiatives.
- Lead analytical support for lender communications, lender presentations, debt capital raises, transaction readiness activities, and related capital markets initiatives.
- Own cash sweep analytics, deposit economics, and related balance sheet optimization analyses supporting enterprise value creation.
- Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity modeling related to capital structure optimization.
Enterprise Economics & Profitability
- Own evolution of enterprise unit economics and profitability frameworks.
- Expand advisor, product, platform, and community profitability analysis.
- Support pricing strategy development and serve as a catalyst for profitability optimization initiatives.
- Advance cost‑to‑serve methodologies and enterprise performance measurement capabilities.
Executive, Board & Investor Narrative
- Support development of executive, Board, lender, and investor‑facing materials.
- Translate complex financial and operational analyses into actionable executive narratives, decision frameworks, and enterprise value creation stories.
- Assist in development of enterprise value creation messaging and capital markets positioning.
- Support ongoing evolution of lender reporting and external stakeholder communications.
Leadership & Organizational Development
- Directly oversee Enterprise Finance & Capital Strategy and Strategy, Insights & Value Creation capabilities.
- Integrate outputs across PEO workstreams into a unified enterprise performance framework.
- Develop future talent and leadership bench strength using the Performance Expectation Model (PEM).
- Progressively assume broader leadership responsibilities across the PEO organization.

- Strong understanding of enterprise value drivers, capital allocation, and value creation frameworks.

- Ability to synthesize large amounts of financial and operational information into actionable recommendations.
- Demonstrated ability to develop executive-, Board-, lender-, and investor‑facing presentations and strategic narratives.
- Demonstrated capability leading cross‑functional strategic initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and drive alignment across complex, matrixed organizations.
- Experience developing and mentoring high‑potential talent.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, strategic finance, corporate development, enterprise strategy, or related value creation roles.
- Demonstrated experience supporting executive leadership teams, capital markets activities, and enterprise value creation initiatives.
- Financial services and wealth management experience preferred.
