Managing Consultant - Financial Institution Advisory

Position Overview

This role supports the Financial Institution Advisory practice by providing financial crime compliance expertise.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with senior experts to win and execute FCC projects.
• Plan and manage client engagement aspects.
• Develop client deliverables and contribute to expert reports.
• Manage client relationships, communicate results, and ensure work products are accurate.
• Delegate assignments, instruct staff, and review work products for completeness.
• Develop audit and testing workplans.
• Demonstrate creativity and efficient use of software tools and analytical methods.
• Participate in group practice meetings and contribute to business development initiatives.
• Prioritize assignments and responsibilities to meet goals and deadlines.
• Manage project budgeting and timelines.
• Support intensive data projects, including analytics, governance, and manipulation, to enhance FCC engagements.

Qualifications

• Minimum six years of experience focused on anti-money laundering or sanctions compliance in financial services.
• Proven capability with MS Excel and PowerPoint, and willingness to train others.
• Ability to manage processes and junior staff.
• Commitment to producing high‑quality analyses and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work within a team environment with individual contributions.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA, M.A., M.S., or J.D. preferred.
• Professional certifications such as ACAMS, ACSS, CFE, PMP, Six Sigma, or related credentials.
• Ability and desire to travel to client sites on demand.
• Proficiency in languages other than English.

Compensation

$115,000 – $160,000 per year, with title and compensation determined by qualifications and experience.
