Role Description

The Managing Broker is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing brokerage operations, ensuring compliance with state and local real estate regulations, and supporting licensed agents. Daily activities include reviewing and approving contracts, handling legal and ethical questions, and providing guidance on brokerage policies and procedures. The Managing Broker collaborates with leadership to implement best practices, supports agent onboarding and training, and monitors transaction activities to maintain quality and compliance. This role also involves resolving escalated client or transaction issues, maintaining documentation and records, and contributing to a positive, professional, and inclusive culture across the brokerage.

Qualifications

• Active Managing Broker or Broker license in relevant state(s) and strong knowledge of real estate laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Experience in residential real estate brokerage operations, including transaction oversight, compliance review, and risk management.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and support agents in a remote environment, including providing clear guidance and constructive feedback.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex transaction and client issues.
• Comfort with digital tools, virtual collaboration platforms, and cloud-based transaction management systems.
• Proven organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to ethical conduct, fair housing principles, and inclusive, non-discriminatory practices.
• Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a brokerage or real estate organization is highly beneficial.
