Manager, Waste Water Operator

Waste Water Reclamation Facility ManagerPerforms labs, maintenance service and repairs in the areas of Waste Water Reclamation. Manages Water Reclamation Facility staff. Interacts with vendors and outside contractors, to meet the goals of the department.Many of the job responsibilities will be conducted in exterior and interior areas of the operation.

Exterior activities will be carried out in year-round weather conditions. Interior work will be conducted on stage and back of the house environments, including smoking areas. Work hours will fluctuate depending on projects, daily tasks and emergency situations.Essential FunctionsAlways be NICE to fellow staff and players; find every opportunity to offer a friendly smile, wave and greetingCollect samples from influent flow, effluent flow and operation basins to assess system performance.Maintain accurate data records on operational parameters, daily activities, maintenance and collected samples for compliance reporting and operational analysis.Troubleshoot and repair all equipment in the wastewater treatment plant with assistance from facilities departments.Ensure all paperwork is filled out and completed in a clear, legible, and accurate format, and completed with required information.Monitors control panel and makes adjustments as needed.Respond to all emergency calls after-hours.Perform maintenance on all equipmentUnderstands and complies with federal, state and local regulationsAble to drive manual transmissionUnderstands and complies with Facilities Department and Casino policies and proceduresHires, trains, supervises and evaluates department personnel.Approves or purchases supplies and equipment for department use.Prepares and recommends to Facilities Director department operating budget.

Manages department within approved budget.Keeps abreast of current professional and technological developments in the field of expertise.Responsible for department compliance with federal, state and local regulations.Maintains liaison with vendors and service representatives to enforce equipment warranties and repair.Monitors and assures staff comply with Facilities Department and Casino policies and procedures.Other duties as assignedThis description incorporates the most typical duties performed.
