Receiving Manager

Responsibilities
- Receive large shipments and match the contents with the details on the invoice.
- Verify the PO or BOL making sure that the product matches the items and quantity shipped.
- Ensure that the goods are stocked safely in the warehouse.
- Document the information about the shipment like the weight of the parcel, the number of parcels, the duty charges and other parameters as well.
- Monitor the net expenses and related data for goods that are shipped to the consumers as well.
- Identify issues with shortage of merchandise, damaged, or prolonged demand. Make adjustment to stocks accordingly.
- Maintain location‑to‑location transfer report.
- File freight claims with inbound freight lines.
- Record and report all inbound freight discrepancies.
- Staff and supervise the warehouse receiving team. Train and develop associates.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse receiving.
- Ability to handle multiple large deliveries.
- Ability to create and print invoices.
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office, preferably MS Outlook and MS Excel.
- Good communication and organizational skills for keeping records of invoices, bill of lading, PO, etc.
- Self‑motivated and a team player.
- Proactive in taking the initiative to perform tasks as required.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving and follow‑through skills.
- Reliable, detail oriented and accurate in providing information to associates.
- Ability to utilize MHE equipment (forklift, order picker, electric pallet jack).
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet cutoff periods and deadlines.
Environment
- Job duties may require frequent standing and occasional need to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
- May encounter extreme hot or cold climates and dusty conditions while pulling product orders.
- May be required to work annual physical inventory.
