Oversee all distribution center functions including receiving, picking, shipping, loading, product allocation, inventory control, and transportation.
Directly manage and support distribution team members to ensure performance goals are met.
Optimize labor resources and supply usage to remain within budget, adjusting schedules and shifts as needed to meet operational demands.
Oversee the procurement, utilization, and maintenance of equipment and assets; collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely upgrades and repairs.
Build and maintain strong relationships with third‑party vendors.
Lead hiring, onboarding, training, and continuous development programs to foster a skilled and motivated team.
Manage all aspects of employee performance including evaluations, disciplinary actions, and terminations when necessary.
Partner with the safety team to conduct training, workplace observations, safety audits, and incident investigations; implement corrective actions as needed.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment that consistently meets or exceeds operational standards.
Develop and manage staff schedules and work assignments to ensure effective coverage and workload balance.
Identify and recommend process improvements and cost‑saving initiatives to the Plant Manager.
Analyze operational challenges, propose solutions, and collaborate across departments to drive continuous improvement.
Champion a culture of high accuracy, accountability, and exceptional customer service.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
5+ years of experience in Warehouse, Distribution, or Supply Chain operations required.
Proven leadership or supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
Experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems is a plus.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
