Reporting to the Senior Director, Total Rewards & HR Operations, this role will serve as a strategic partner across the organization, ensuring our programs are competitive, equitable, scalable, and aligned with Tango's mission and growth.This position will lead key compensation initiatives while also owning the administration and evolution of Tango's health, welfare, retirement, leave, wellness, and recognition programs.
The role will partner closely with Talent Acquisition, Finance, and external vendors to deliver best-in-class employee experience that supports our ability to attract, retain, and engage top talentYour Role:Manage and evolve Tango's compensation and job leveling frameworkConduct market benchmarking and salary surveys to support competitive pay decisionsPartner with Talent Acquisition on job pricing, offer development, and compensation guidance for new hiresPartner with annual compensation planning, merit, bonus, equity, and promotion processesManage Tango's employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, retirement, leave of absence, wellness, and other reward offeringsPartner with brokers and vendors to evaluate plan performance, analyze utilization and cost trends, and recommend enhancements that support employee well-being and business objectivesLead benefit renewals, open enrollment, employee communications, and ongoing vendor managementEnsure compliance with applicable compensation and benefits regulations, including pay transparency and pay equity requirementsManage employee recognition and reward programs, including spot awards and milestone recognitionLeverage market data and compensation tools, including Radford, to provide actionable insights to leadersSupport and optimize HR systems and Total Rewards processes to improve efficiency and employee experienceDevelop and deliver compensation, benefits, and workforce analytics to support leadership decision-making, measure program effectiveness, identify trends, and inform strategic Total Rewards initiativesWhat You Bring:Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of Human Resources experience, with a focus on Compensation, Benefits, or Total RewardsExperience supporting a fast-paced biotech, life sciences, or high-growth organizationStrong knowledge of compensation programs, market pricing, salary surveys, and job architectureExperience managing employee benefits programs, broker relationships, open enrollment, and vendor partnershipsFamiliarity with regulatory requirements related to compensation and benefits administrationProficiency with compensation data sources such as Radford and compensation benchmarking methodologiesStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to build trusted partnerships across HR, Finance, Talent Acquisition, and business leadershipWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
