Manager, Technical Accounting

We are recruiting a Manager, Technical Accounting to support accounting research, compliance initiatives, financial reporitng, and financial and management reporting. This role works closely with accounting and finance leadership on complex accounting matters, financial disclosures, internal controls, and reporting requirements. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in U.S. GAAP, experience evaluating complex transactions, and the ability to translate technical accounting guidance into practical business solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Research, interpret, and document accounting conclusions for complex transactions, business initiatives, and emerging accounting guidance under U.S. GAAP.
• Prepare technical accounting memoranda and analyses supporting significant transactions, agreements, and business activities.
• Partner with finance, tax, legal, and operational teams to evaluate accounting implications of strategic projects and organizational initiatives.
• Maintain and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and internal documentation to support consistency and compliance across the organization.
• Monitor accounting standard updates and assess the impact of new guidance on the business.
• Support internal and external audit activities, including preparation of analyses, schedules, and supporting documentation.
• Participate in internal control and compliance initiatives, including process improvement and documentation efforts.
• Assist in the preparation and review of periodic financial statements, disclosures, and management reporting packages.
• Support special projects related to financial reporting, accounting operations, business growth, and process enhancement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA highly preferred.
• Progressive experience in public accounting, corporate accounting, technical accounting, financial reporting, or a combination of these areas.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting principles.
