Manager, TDRM Associate Experience

In this role you will have the opportunity to wear many hats and make an incredible impact on the TDRM organization. You will partner to lead the well‑managed execution of our associate engagement strategy aimed to create a strong community across TDRM and foster an inclusive, inspiring, and fun culture.

We are looking for a creative problem solver with exceptional communication skills and a sharp eye for detail. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast‑paced environment, adapting seamlessly to change while overseeing a wide array of daily functions. This role offers a unique chance to manage diverse responsibilities and make a tangible impact.

Responsibilities

  • Co‑lead and execute key activities and processes that support our team and associates such as recognition and associate engagement programs.
  • Help drive communications strategy; coordinate with Corporate Communications to oversee the communications calendar; maintain a critical eye to timing, overlap, appropriateness, and coordination.
  • Co‑lead our internal engagement team to develop content and activities that support our associate engagement strategy, such as pop‑up events, and celebrating associate moments that matter.
  • Draft decks, communications, newsletters, and other campaign related messaging, often partnering closely with Corporate Communications.

You’ll need to wear many hats including:

  • Project Leader: Detail‑ and process‑oriented and adeptly manage several projects and initiatives at once with supportive direction. You have relentlessly high standards and attention to the smallest details with the ability to adapt to change quickly.
  • Problem‑solver: You understand intent and goals for a project, propose plans to meet those needs, and autonomously pursue options to deliver results in a well‑managed manner. You bring in data and metrics to ensure we’re working the needle and identifying insights.
  • Juggler: You don’t get overwhelmed or flustered easily. You seek guidance to reprioritize as needed to adjust with changing business needs, and take action with urgency as appropriate.
  • Valued partner: You have a proven track record of collaborative work relationships and you thrive in a matrixed environment.
  • Team player: You are highly motivated and willing to roll up your sleeves and get the job done, even in situations where the work is outside of the scope of your respective role.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Project Management.
  • At least 2 years of experience supporting executive leaders.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a chief of staff role.
  • At least 2 years of change management experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional certification.
  • 5+ years of experience in Project Management.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting executive leaders.
  • 5+ years of experience in a chief of staff role.
  • 5+ years of change management experience.

Compensation and Benefits

Minimum and maximum full‑time annual salaries vary by location: McLean, VA: $151,900 – $173,400; Richmond, VA: $138,100 – $157,700. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long‑term incentives (LTI).
