This position offers an optional hybrid schedule (to be discussed during the interview process).

Essential Functions:

• Provide final technical review on tax returns and documents for most clients
• Research tax issues and develop resolutions/recommendations
• Stay updated on tax law and accounting changes
• Manage planning, organizing, and interfacing with clients to meet deadlines
• Communicate with clients to achieve their best interests
• Support and direct staff activities, ensuring quality and performance
• Monitor the quality of work and staff performance
• Assign and track tasks/projects to staff and supervisors
• Develop staff and supervisors
• Build internal and external networks to develop new business opportunities
• Oversee billing, collections, and monitor WIP, aging, and write-downs
• Participate in in-house CPE and training activities

Qualifications:

• CPA Certification required
• Minimum 5 years of public accounting experience
• Proven leadership skills
• Strong decision-making and initiative
• Ability to work calmly under pressure
• Organized, able to prioritize workload
