We’re seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead a team developing mission-critical communications and service-based software within Space Mission Systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead software development across requirements, architecture, design, implementation, integration, and test.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, performance management, and recruiting support.
  • Lead development of RESTful APIs, Java enterprise applications, and service-based architectures .
  • Support RHEL, RPM packaging, JBoss/WAR deployments, VoIP/SIP systems , and real-time communications.
  • Collaborate with systems, electrical, cybersecurity, and program teams.
  • Contribute to architecture/design reviews, proposals, estimates, and engineering planning.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s + 9 years, Master’s + 7 years, or 13 years relevant experience in lieu of degree.
  • Senior engineering/technical leadership experience.
  • Production experience with RESTful services .
  • Active DoD Secret clearance or higher - REQUIRED.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
