Manager, Security OperationsL3Harris is seeking a Security Operations Manager in Palm Bay, FL. This role is responsible for leading the day-to-day physical security operations across multiple L3Harris facilities in Brevard County, FL. This position provides leadership for security personnel, contract guard services, and the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC), while ensuring compliance with corporate policies, customer requirements, and applicable government regulations.Essential Functions:Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standardsOversee access control systems, CCTV, and intrusion detection systemsDirect incident response activities and crisis management responseLead workplace violence prevention and active threat preparednessManage security technology, system upgrades, and improvement effortsPartner with Facilities, Industrial Security, HR, Legal, Ethics, and Environmental Health & SafetyBuild strong working relationships with local, state, and federal law enforcement agenciesSupport internal audits, investigations, customer assessments, and government inspectionsFoster a culture of integrity, accountability, safety, customer focus, and continuous improvementLead and develop a high-performing security team through coaching, mentoring, and performance managementQualifications:Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience.
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.Active Secret clearanceExperience leading supervisors and/or contract guard forcesPreferred Additional Skills:Experience managing corporate or physical security operationsKnowledge of NISPOM, ICD 705, DoDM , CTPAT, and related security regulationsExperience supporting SCIFs, SAPFs, or classified facilitiesCPP, PSP or other industrial security certificationL3Harris Technologies is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
