Role Overview

Seeking a Nurse Manager to oversee a hospital unit, ensuring safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care. The position involves creating a supportive environment for nursing and ancillary staff, fostering collaboration with physicians and leadership, and supervising daily operations to achieve organizational goals.

Responsibilities Include

• Building and maintaining a skilled, high-performing team through recruitment, coaching, and evaluations.
• Promoting a culture of safety, quality, and open communication, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Monitoring clinical outcomes via audits and data analysis; addressing patient care issues proactively.
• Conducting rounds with physicians, coordinating care plans, and resolving operational concerns.
• Managing staffing needs, scheduling, and resource allocation to optimize unit throughput.
• Ensuring a safe environment, preventing complications, and preparing for emergencies.
• Collaborating with staff and leadership to meet educational and organizational objectives.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum of five years’ clinical experience, with at least one year in a leadership role preferred.
• Current RN licensure and BLS certification required; specialty certifications and CPR preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and clinical skills, with the ability to manage staff and workflows effectively.
