A leading global private investment firm with approximately $215 billion in assets under management is seeking a Manager for Risks Processes and Controls within its Special Situations team. This role involves managing critical fund control processes and engaging with stakeholders to ensure high operational standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Own and manage fund-specific audit cycles, including SOC1, Kaufman AUP Quarterly Review, and Annual Financial Statement Audits
- Review and update Policy and Procedures Manuals
- Manage new fund/strategy launches and fund wind-down activities
- Maintain fund governance documentation and operational obligations
- Oversee custody-related operational processes and lead process improvement projects
- Manage Business Continuity Plan and Disaster Recovery program
- Handle relationships with outsourced servicers and manage vendor scorecard process
- Support special projects and strategic initiatives across the platform
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in operations, risk, controls, or fund administration within alternative investment management or financial services
- Solid understanding of fund operations and custody processes
- Experience managing audit processes end-to-end
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; experience with workflow or process documentation tools is a plus
Compensation
Salary: $115,000 – $130,000, Plus Bonus
