Manager, Project ManagementJob Location: Salt Lake City, UTJob Code: CS Job Schedule: 9/80Job Description:The Manager, Project Manager is responsible for the management of Operations efforts relating to contract execution, and is responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring projects from beginning to end, according to strict deadlines and budgets. This position will work with cross-functional groups to meet strategic company goals and objectives, as well as other activities in-accordance with customer's contractual requirements. The Manager will oversee cost and schedule conformance across a portfolio of projects by ensuring the effective execution of procurement, build, and test activities.

A successful candidate should be able to:Act as a subject matter expert leading all aspects of the Rapid Prototype and IRAD process from proposal through program award and executionRecruit, mentor, and develop project team membersEstablishes short-term operational plans with measurable contribution to function or business area resultsEffectively collaborate with Program Management, Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Finance teamsDevelop, present, and deliver comprehensive presentations to the project team, upper management, and customer personnel in a clear and concise mannerWork with functional leaders to perform analysis and identify areas for performance improvementServe as a role model for integrity, inclusion, and diversityMaintain responsibility for succession planning, organizational and talent developmentEstablish, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and control systems to reduce costs, streamline procedures, and implement solutionsIdentify and coordinate resources necessary for quick reaction, development effortsExperience in collaborating with Program Management, Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, and other cross-functional groupsKnowledge of MRP/ERP and the application of IRAD and Rapid Prototype methodologiesExperience creating and briefing executive-level presentationsDemonstrated earned value / cost account management experienceExperience developing a team environment and championing improvement initiativesExcellent verbal and written communication skills in a technical environmentReport out regularly to senior and executive level ManagementRequired (Basic) Qualifications:Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 9 years prior relevant experience or Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years prior related experience.
