Overview

The manager is accountable for daily operations, planning, coordinating, and managing the activities of the professional and support staff of the inpatient, the ambulatory (Outpatient) and the non-sterile and sterile production divisions of the CHAM pharmacy department.

Responsibilities

• The individual manager is also responsible for reviewing staff time and attendance, adhering to pharmacy practice regulations, following-up on drug-related problems, conducting quality improvements reviews, training of professional and supportive staff and implementing administrative and clinical procedures and CHAM IV room 797 compliance.
• Other activities include project management, budgeting, compliance with policies and procedures, accreditation requirements and regulations and medication safety.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy is required.
• Must have a valid NYS Pharmacist license and registration.
• Completion of a PGY 1 is preferred.
• Three-five years' experience is a similar role.
