Harnham is looking for an experienced Permanent Recruitment Manager to join our New York City team and help drive the continued growth of our US Permanent business.
This is a true player-coach opportunity, combining team leadership with individual production. You’ll manage, coach, and develop a team of recruiters while continuing to build your own desk, develop client relationships, and contribute directly to revenue.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage, coach, and develop a team of Permanent recruiters
- Continue to run and grow your own successful recruitment desk
- Drive team performance through 1:1s, pipeline reviews, and hands-on coaching
- Develop new business and expand existing client relationships
- Support the team across business development, candidate delivery, negotiation, and closing
- Partner with senior leadership on hiring, performance, and growth strategy
- Help shape and scale the NYC Permanent team as the business continues to grow
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience within permanent recruitment/staffing
- A proven track record of individual billing success
- Previous experience managing, mentoring, or developing recruiters
- Recruitment experience within Technology, Data, Analytics, and/or AI
- Strong business development and account management skills
- A commercial, results-driven mindset
- Someone who enjoys leading from the front and wants to remain active in the market
